Disney Channel has given us a new Marvel clip Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur Season 2 to share with you today! The clip shows Moon Girl’s brand new lab. The workshop is provided by her best friend Casey.
Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is based on Marvel’s hit comic book series, and the story follows the adventures of a 13-year-old supergenius named Lunella Lafayette and her 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur. “After Lunella accidentally brings Devil Dinosaur to present-day New York City through a time vortex, the two work together to protect the city’s Lower East Side from danger.”
In season two, “Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur are in their element as superheroes; However, as Moon Girl’s superhero role becomes increasingly intertwined with her personal life, she must decide whether the cost of keeping her identity a secret is worth the toll it takes on her family.
The series is also the protagonist White Diamond (The Bold and the Beautiful, The Lion Guard) as Lunella Lafayette (aka Moon Girl); Alfredo Woodard (Luca Gabbia) as Lunella’s grandmother, Mimi; Libe Barer (Sneaky Pete) as Lunella’s best friend and manager, Casey; Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live) as Lunella’s mother, Adria; Jermaine Fowler (Superior Donuts) as Lunella’s father, James Jr.; Fred Tatasciore (Marvel’s Avengers reunite) as the one and only Devil Dinosaur; AND Gary Anthony Williams (Doctor McStuffins) as Lunella’s grandfather, Pops.
Peter Weller he also joined the cast along with Colbie chokeswho will reprise her role as Maria Hill. Edward James Olmos has also joined the series and will take on the role of the main villain… Molecule Man.
The new season will premiere on Disney Channel on Friday, February 2. It will appear on Disney+ the next day.
