Catherine O’Hara he is said to be in talks to take on a role in the upcoming second season of The last of us at most O’Hara is best known for her roles in classic comedies such as Home alone, A powerful wind, Cockroach juice, The best in showand many others, in addition to my favorite program, Schitt’s Creek. She’s simply the best at everything she’s at, so this would be a huge win for the show.
According to an industry scoop Daniele RichtmannO’Hara is in talks to join the series as the character Gail, who will apparently appear in three episodes. Gail’s role is not to The Last of Us Part II video game, so we don’t know if she would be an ally of Joel and Ellie, or if she would take on a darker side. Showrunner Craig Mazin AND Neil Druckmann introduced some great original characters in the first season, so it’s exciting to know what’s next.
O’Hara hasn’t officially signed on yet, so the part isn’t set in stone with her in the role. The last of us Production on the second season is expected to begin in the spring and will arrive on HBO in 2025.
