Bonkers: Trailer for the Looney Tunes-inspired live-action film HUNDREDS OF BEAVERS

A new trailer is out for the completely insane trailer for a wildly wacky and fun indie film titled Hundreds of beavers. As you’ll see, the film is very Looney Tunes inspired, but the story and all the crazy antics that take place in the film are done in live-action. The movie has received so many great reviews and I’m really excited to watch it!

The film’s synopsis reads: “Paying homage to silent cinema and cartoons, Mike Cheslik’s feature debut, Hundreds of Beavers, opens with an epic animated sequence that introduces us to our trusty hero, an apple salesman drunk whose supply of Applejack Cider is ruined due to the work of some hungry beavers. To recover his fortune, he must become the greatest trapper the continent has ever seen by defeating hundreds of beavers. Hundreds of Beavers is an epic dialogue-free heroics that are endlessly creative, embracing the innovative spirit of cinema’s early decades while using animation to reimagine natural laws in creative and compelling ways.”

The film comes from the director Mike Cheslik, and the film “captures the zany, anarchic energy by featuring a new gag every few seconds. It has many unique pieces, but equally builds momentum with build-ups and slower recalls that keep the experience fresh and surprising. A man versus nature narrative about overcoming the cruel and unforgiving landscape of a northeastern winter, Hundreds of Beavers is a dazzling and dynamic theatrical experience.

The film will be released on January 26, 2024.
