Lucasfilm has yet to officially announce it Ahsoka is getting a second season, but it was reported that season 2 had been greenlit and that they had begun development before the Hollywood writers’ strike. As for what the actors know, they don’t seem to know much.
Star of the series Rosario Dawson recently spoke to the Dagobah Dispatch podcast, and during the show she was asked if there had been any talks with her collaborators regarding season 2 and this was her response:
“No. We should have a dinner with the whole cast soon, which will be really nice because I haven’t seen everyone. I was really jealous seeing everyone at some of their conventions recently, which I haven’t been able to be.”
Ahsoka Season 1 ended with many loose threads that fans are all excited to see explored further. It’s going to be one of those things that we’re going to have to be patient with because it’s going to be a while before we get a second season. All of this is leading to Dave Filoniit’s big Star Wars movie. One thing we know for sure is that Filoni will be able to realize his complete vision Star Wars because, well… now he’s Creative Director at Lucasfilm.
Ahosoka even stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead like Hera Syndulla, the deceased Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant like Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Ahsoka it was written by Filoni, who also serves as executive producer Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin WilsonAND Carrie Beck.
