Glen Powell is gearing up for his Broadway debut and working with producer Ryan Murphy to make it happen.
The Everyone but you Star reunites with the Scream Queen Co-creator of the horror series in which he starred in the role of Chad Radwell in 2015.
“Ryan Murphy and I are actually doing a musical together. “We don’t really plan to return to television together, but we will appear on Broadway together,” Powell said. Fashion.
When asked if the Broadway musical had anything to do with his character from the 2015 series, Powell said: “The Chad Radwell Musical. This is the funniest idea. Only the Dickie Dollar Scholars. The number of people who come to me Scream Queen is shocking, probably more than anything else I’ve done. Maybe it will age like a fine wine.”
The actor also spoke about a film he has just completed based on the film Twister universe, but not a direct sequel to the 1996 film.
“It’s definitely not a reboot,” he told the publication. “We are not trying to recreate the story from scratch. This is a completely original story. No characters from the original film return, so it’s not really a sequel. It is simply its own self-contained story in modern times.
He continued: “I don’t think anyone has mentioned this movie in ages, but when I talk to people, they say, ‘It was one of my favorite movies as a kid.’ The film scared me.”
Powell also remembered this during filming Top pistolHe got advice from Tom Cruise, who told him: “If you want to make films of a certain size and scope, you have to find out what everybody around the world and in every field can achieve.”
“And man versus weather is a very universal idea — how powerless we really are against these catastrophic forces,” Powell noted.
Directed by Lee Isaac Chung Twister, which also stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Anthony Ramos, Brandon Perea and Daryl McCormack. The cast of the upcoming film from Universal and Amblin Entertainment also includes Maura Tierney (The affair), Harry Hadden-Paton (Downton Abbey), Sasha Lane (American honey), Kiernan Shipka (i am angryn), Nik Dodani (Atypical), David Corenswet (pearl), Tunde Adebimpe (Spider-Man: Homecoming) and Katy O’Brian (The Mandalorian).
