Director James Wan is about to embark on a wild journey as he develops a film adaptation of HP LovecraftThe iconic short story The Call of Cthulhu. Deadline reports that this is a “dream project” for Wan and that she has been working on the project quietly for the past five years.

This sounds like a fantastic project for Wan and I can’t wait to see how he brings this incredible story to life! I like Wan’s filmmaking style and think a film like Call of Cthulhu could become his best film yet.
In a previous interview, Wan shared his thoughts on returning to the realm of horror saying, “You know, I have a tendency to want to go back and forth. So every time I do a smaller movie, I want to go and do a big one. movie”. movie.
