The trailer of the drama film has been released My goodness, as a writer and director Dan Levywho previously wrote/directed and starred in my favorite show, Schitt’s Creek. This film, about the loss of one’s significant other, marks his directorial debut and he stars alongside a large cast including Ruth Negga, Himesh Patel, Celia Imrie, David Bradley, Arnaud Valois, Emma Corrin, Kaitlyn DeverAND Luke Evans.
The film’s synopsis reads:
“Marc (Daniel Levy) was content to live in the shadow of her amazing husband, Oliver (Luke Evans). But when Oliver dies unexpectedly, Marc’s world is shattered, sending him and his two best friends, Sophie (Ruth Negga) and Thomas (Himesh Patel), on a soul-searching trip to Paris that reveals some hard truths that each of they had to face.
This looks like it’s going to be a tearjerker, but I like this genre and will watch anything Dan Levy does, so I’m here for it. Check out the trailer below and watch my goodness when it arrives on Netflix on January 5th.
