Adrianne Palicki Offers Disappointing Update on THE ORVILLE Season 4 “It’s a Really Hard Show to Shoot”

Many fans are wondering if Seth MacFarlane’S The Orville would continue with a fourth season. WELL, Adrianna Palicki he recently offered an update on that, and his response probably isn’t what you were hoping for.

The actress was recently a guest Michael RosenbaumThe Inside of You podcast and when he asked Palicki about it The Orville introducing the question about whether the series is the one he is currently a part of, he quickly responded, “No, I don’t do that anymore.”

He went on to say that he doesn’t know the status of the series and explained it The Orville It’s a very difficult show to shoot. She explained:

“I don’t know, really, the answer to that question. I think it talks about the fact that it might be something that some people want to do, but it’s a really hard show to shoot, man. We shot 33 episodes in six years.”

If the show goes forward, it looks like Palicki won’t be a part of it. It sounds like he’s been frustrating for her and he shared:

“It became a real problem because there would be so much time between seasons because of Seth [MacFarlane] he wanted to write everything himself. So, it would simply take that long. At one point, we were like we should fight the studio to give us an equity fee or something. J. Lee at one point was eating pretzels and Gatorade because we couldn’t afford anything. It was horrible.”

Yeah, that doesn’t sound like a fun time for an actor. It makes sense that this is a project an actor might want to walk away from. But, as of now, The Orville has not been renewed for a fourth season and may not be at this point. MacFarlane is a busy guy with multiple projects in development and The Orville it may no longer be a priority for him or the firm. Speaking previously about the future of the series, MacFarlane said:

“My hope is that when the show comes out on Disney+, people who haven’t discovered it yet [The Orville] will suddenly give him a chance. This is a potential game changer for us. I think from a creative and audience perspective, when people sit down and give the show a chance, their expectations are upended. The biggest burden of the show is preconceptions. People think it’s one thing – there are people out there who think it’s a sitcom – and when they sit down and watch it, they realize it’s something completely different. Once you get people’s attention, the show does its job, it speaks for itself, and people tend to be fascinated by it.”

Think The Orville will it eventually have a season 4?
