New Bonkers trailer for the DC anime series SUICIDE SQUAD ISEKAI

Warner Bros. Japan has released a new trailer for the upcoming DC anime series ISEKAI Suicide Squad, and it looks like it’s going to be a crazy, crazy series! This is definitely a unique DC project and comes from Warner Bros. Japan LLC and WIT Studio (Spy x Family, ranking of the kings).

The synopsis reads: “DC’s Harley Quinn, the Joker and The Suicide Squad unleash on the ISEKAI stage* in Warner Bros. Japan and WIT Studio’s new original anime series, Suicide Squad ISEKAI. The most maddening worlds collide in an epic, violent fantasy with the strongest lineup of anime creators! *ISEKAI means “another world”, which is now one of the most popular genres for Japanese anime.

Nagasaki previously said: “Suicide Squad ISEKAI is finally announced. ISEKAI! Suicide Squad! Who ever thought of mixing these two!? But this will definitely be a dream project. Crazy villains run amok in ISEKAI! It is nothing more, nothing less, and it cannot be anything else!”

ISEKAI Suicide Squad is directed by Eric Osadawith screenplays by Nagasaki rugs AND Eiji Umehara. Features character designs from Naoto Hosed and character design sketches by Akira Amano. Amano said of working on the series: “I’m a huge fan of Harley Quinn and the other characters from the Suicide Squad movie! Eri Osada’s clear vision for Harley’s design made the process smoother than expected, and I enjoyed designing her costume and muscles as I imagined her action-packed adventures in the story.

Umehara added: “What would happen if the fascinating characters of DC Comics went to another world? I am honored to be involved in a work with such a childish and simple idea. I designed a series of villains with one goal in mind; to make Harley cute! I hope you will join me in enjoying and reviving this world.”

Harley Quinn will be voiced by Anna NagaseDeadshot will be voiced by Reigo YamaguchiPeacemaker will be voiced by Takehito KoyasuClayface will be voiced Jun Fukuyamand King Shark will be dubbed Subaru Kimura. The Joker will be voiced by Yuichiro Umehara.

The series will arrive in 2024.
