After the events of Marvel Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madnessmany fans weren’t sure we’d ever see it Elizabeth Olsenit’s Scarlet Witch again. Then, during an interview a few months ago, Olsen said she was ready to abandon the character, saying, “There’s no longevity in a character.”
It looked like she was ready and willing to say goodbye. Well, according to one Hollywood scooper Daniele Richtmannwhich has been on a roll lately, it looks like Marvel is developing a Scarlet Witch movie, and WandaVision AND Agata always producer and writer, Jac Schaeffer, will write and direct it. It seems to make perfect sense.
In related news, this was reported Doctor Strange 3 is in active development with Sam Raimi set to direct. Raimi is also set to direct Marvel Avengers: The Kang Dynasty AND Avengers: Secret Wars.
Marvel projects are also rumored The Wonder Man AND Vision research they will probably be independent limited series and Wicca is still in development and is said to be a likely lead-in to the Scarlet Witch movie.
Elizabeth Olsen recently spoke about playing the character, saying, “Particularly for the last four years, my production has been Marvel. I don’t want to… it’s not that I don’t want to be associated with just this character. But I really feel the need to reconstruct other parts to balance them.”
He added: “I want to make movies so bad right now. And I hope some of them come together in the way I feel like they can. But yeah, it’s something I need. I just need more characters in my life. There’s no longevity in a character.”
However, the actress also spoke about what she would like to see in Scarlet Witch’s future, saying that she hopes for redemption. She said: “We can do anything with her now! I feel like we’ve done so much. Now we can really have fun; I feel like there will be a lot more humor with her. It often represents the emotion of a story and I’m curious to see what we can explore. And she hopes [we can] Give her some redemption.”
