A new featurette for AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM teases the film’s epic scope

Warner Bros. has shared a new behind-the-scenes featurette for the director James Wan’S Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The video includes an interview with the director along with cast members Jason Momoa and Patrick Wilson as they mostly talk about the epic scope of the film and how big it is both visually and story-wise.

This film was previously referred to as “Aquaman’s Last Stand” and since it will most likely be the last Aquaman film with Jason Momoa and the last DCEU film, I’m really curious to see how it does at the box office. Will he sink or swim?

In the film, “Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to defeat Aquaman once and for all,” the official synopsis of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. law. “This time Black Manta is more formidable than ever, as he wields the power of the mythical Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force. To defeat him, Aquaman will turn to his imprisoned brother Orm, the former king of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance. Together, they must put aside their differences to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family and the world from irreversible destruction.

Momoa joins Amber heard like Mera, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in the role of Black Manta, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Dolph Lundgren as king Nereus and Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin.

Warner Bros. will release the film in theaters on December 20.
