Atari announces the remastered 1983 Atari Club Jackets, now available for pre-order

Atari has announced a collection of Atari Club jackets created in collaboration with clothing brand Members Only. The collection is a remaster of the 1983 jackets and includes black, red and white racing models with Atari branding. They are great and I will buy one!

The description reads: “In an exciting fusion of style and nostalgia, Atari has teamed up with iconic ’80s brand Members Only to resurrect a historic piece of pop culture. We’re reintroducing the classic Atari jacket: a meticulous remake of the original that was once the pride of Atari Club members. This isn’t just a piece of clothing; It’s a statement, a tribute, and a badge of honor for every Atari enthusiast out there.”

This collaboration “marries the nostalgic essence of two trend-setting giants: Members Only, known for its signature racing jackets that became a cultural phenomenon, and Atari, whose games defined a generation of arcade and home entertainment. The stylish pieces, which feature an Atari logo patch on the chest and white embroidery along the sleeve, boast a double snap closure at the neck, shoulder pads, zip fastening and hidden front and internal pockets. The collection consists of white, red, black and very limited special edition jackets. Only 72 white jackets are available.”
