Trailer for Daisy Ridley’s drama film SOMETIMES I THINK I’M DYING

Oscopelabs has released the first trailer for Daisy Ridley’s upcoming dark, surreal drama Sometimes I think I’m dying. This is definitely a different kind of movie for Ridley and we’ve never seen her play a character like this before. The movie looks pretty depressing.

Ridley plays Fran in the film, a socially awkward office worker who spends most of her time in isolation and daydreams about her own death. Then a new colleague enters the scene and changes things.

In the film, “Lost on the dreary Oregon coast, Fran finds solace in her cubicle, listening to the constant buzz of her office colleagues and occasionally daydreaming to pass the time. About Her He’s wandering through her life, unable to burst her bubble of isolation, when a friendly new colleague, Robert, persistently tries to connect with her. Even if it goes against every fiber of her being, she might have to give this guy a chance. Director Rachel Lambert and her team create beautiful cinema for this delicately told love story for the socially awkward and emotionally challenged.

It explains that the film is “made even more human by its lovable cast, especially in the penetrating eyes of the lead actress/producer, Daisy Ridley, and the thoughtful smile of the lead actor, Dave Merheje. Sometimes I think I’m dying it is an unexpected tale about the virtues of life.”

The film is based on the 2019 short film directed and co-written by Stefanie Abel Horowitz which, in turn, was based on a play called Killers by Kevin Armento; Katy Wright-Mead serves as co-writer for both the short film and the feature screenplay. The film is directed by Rachel Lambert.

Sometimes I think I’m dying will be released in theaters on January 25, 2024.
