Head of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige he reportedly feared that the cast was preparing for the Fantastic Four the reboot would be “too white” so he pushed to get it Pedro Pasquale starring as Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic.
This report comes from industry insider Jeff Sneider on his website The InSneider. He also says the rest of the cast might include him Venessa Kirby (Napoleon) as Sue Storm aka the Invisible Woman, along with Joseph Quinn (Stranger things) as Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The bear) as Ben Grimm aka The Thing.
The report also confirms this Jake Gyllenhaal AND Adam Driver they were in the running for Reed Richards, but they wanted too much money. Gyllenhall made absolutely no sense to me since he had already played Mysterio in the Spider-Man films.
Then, there is Javier Bardem, who is up for the role of Galactus, which would be awesome. Marvel will set the cast soon and when they do, I’m sure they’ll make a big announcement. But I like the way the cast is coming together.
