A photo from Tim Burton’S Beetle juice 2 has leaked online and gives us our first look Michael Keaton back in action as The Ghost with the Most!
The photo appears to have been cropped from a shot taken from a fixed monitor. It shows Keaton as Betelgeuse injecting someone with truth serum into their neck. That someone could be Justin Theroux’s character. As you’ll see, Keaton’s character hasn’t changed at all.
Previously speaking about the making of the film, Keaton said: “Beetlejuice is the most fun you can have working, it’s so much fun, it’s so great. And you know what that is? We’re doing it exactly the way we’ve been doing it.” the first movie… There’s a woman in the great afterlife waiting room with literally a fishing line—I want people to know because I love it—that she pulls on a cat’s tail to make it move.
The cinematographer of the film Haris Zambarloukos also offered some story insights, saying the film will tell a story about family: “Its heart is Beetlejuice [2]’ is the story of a family, and now it’s 30 years later and what are the complexities and the human condition of keeping a family together for all that time set in the craziest world possible? That’s why I choose projects. That human connection is always at the forefront for me.”
The film is also the protagonist Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz, Jenna Ortega like his daughter, Catherine O’Hara in the role of Delia Deetz, and Monica Bellucci (Irreversible, Spectrum, The Apartment) as Beetlejuice’s wife in the story. Willem Dafoe he’s also in the movie and plays a ghoulish law enforcement officer in Neitherworld.
Alfred Gough AND Miles Millar (Wednesday AND Smallville) wrote the screenplay along with an earlier draft of Seth Grahame-Smith AND David Katzenberg. Katzenberg and Grahame-Smith are also producing. Danny Elfman he is returning to compose the score.
