Kevin Feige confirms the STAR WARS movie he was working on is dead

There was a lot of excitement when it was announced Kevin Feige was going to develop a Star Wars film for Lucasfilm. He didn’t get far, though, because he became one of many Star Wars projects fallen apart. Earlier this year it was reported that his Star Wars the transfer had been canceled and now Feige himself has confirmed it.

During an interview with Show tonightwhile at the premiere of The wondersFeige was asked, “What’s up with Star Wars movie? Is this happening?” His response was a simple “No,” and she shook her head.

So, it seems Feige decided it was best to focus on Marvel Studios, which definitely needs attention. This update comes at a time when rumors recently resurfaced that Feige would take control of Lucasfilm, which is obviously not the case.

While Feige is huge Star Wars fans, I don’t think he will ever leave Marvel Studios. However, I would have loved to see what she would have done with a Star Wars movie. Previously she explained that she loves her for Star Wars was his gateway to Marvel, saying:

“I knew I wanted to work on this type of film [Marvel movies]especially because of this movie, [Star Wars]. … Was I the kid who kept playing with Star Wars toys maybe a little longer than the other kids? So I was 10 when Jedi came out. I had them all [toys]. The “The Force Unleashed” line came out in ’85, so there hadn’t been a Star Wars movie in a couple of years, and as you know, that’s when Kenner stopped producing the “The Force Unleashed” line of the Force”. It was the last line they wrote.”

Feige called the screenwriter Michele Waldron (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) to work on the project at one point, and said, “I like having the freedom to do something that isn’t necessarily a sequel or anything like that.” But, of course, nothing will happen with this.
