THE BEAR star Jeremy Allen White was ready for a ‘Marvel-style movie’ and was told ‘Fuck it’

The star of the Bear Jeremy Allen White he was praised for his performance in that series and is at an exciting point in his career where many directors and studios want to work with him. As you can imagine, one of the big movie studios asked him to meet for “some kind of Marvel movie”, and it didn’t go very well because of his skepticism towards the superhero genre and he thinks that “he played it all in the wrong way.

During an interview with GQ, the actor shared what happened during the meeting that led to studio executives giving him the “F–k you.” He said he told the executives, “Tell me why I should make your movie.” He added: “They haven’t responded well to this. They were like, ‘Fuck you.’ And I said, ‘Right.’”

White doesn’t mention the studio or project he met for, but the executives clearly didn’t appreciate his attitude. He went on to talk about his confusion and frustration over how major superhero films seem to be seen as the “pinnacle” of every rising star’s career.

He explained: “I’m confused as to how the pinnacle of an actor’s career ended up in that place. They have really good directors to make those movies and, obviously, they have really good actors to make those movies. I played it the way I wanted to play it.”

The actor then says he’d rather direct a “25 million dollar drama which I think most actors want to do,” and added, “I’m just getting more time and being able to do what I really love to do. And that’s very very how I see these things.

Hey, if he’s happy making the movies and shows he makes, then that’s all that matters. His next film project is The Iron Claw, which is a wrestling biopic about the legendary Von Erich family. She takes on the role of Kerry Von Erich. The movie looks really great!

The film tells the true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, “who made history in the highly competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s. Through tragedy and triumph, in the shadow of their domineering father and coach, the brothers seek extraordinary immortality on sport’s biggest stage.”

No matter what type of projects White takes on, he is a talented actor and will never have to worry about finding work.
