Rockstar Games has confirmed it Grand Theft Auto 6 is in development and they revealed that the first trailer for the video game will be released next month, in December. The video game publisher shared:
“We are very excited to let you know that in early December we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We look forward to sharing these experiences with all of you for many more years.”
The statement was signed by Rockstar president Sam Houser and posted on X as part of a lengthy message chain, which also informed fans that December marks the company’s 25th anniversary.
One of the posts reads: “In 1998, Rockstar Games was founded on the idea that video games could become as essential to culture as any other form of entertainment, and we hope we’ve created the games you love in our commitment to be that. ” part of that evolution. Thanks to the incredible support of our players around the world, we have had the opportunity to create games that we are truly passionate about.”
Recently there were rumors that Rockstar would make it official GTA 6 announcement, and well… it’s here! The last game in the series, Grand Theft Auto 5, was released in 2013 and became the best-selling game in the world. It ended up raising $800 million in just 24 hours!
