The acclaimed restaurant drama The bear is officially getting a third season! FX wants to continue telling this story and I’m not surprised. This is truly one of the best shows currently in development for TV, and if you haven’t watched it, you’re missing out on some masterful storytelling and character development.
The series comes from FX and Hulu and will return in 2024. Production on the third season will begin as soon as the actors’ strike ends, which could be very close right now.

We are so proud to collaborate with Christopher Storer, Joanna Calo, Josh Senior and the rest of the creative team, as well as the brilliant cast led by Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. What they and the crew have done is truly extraordinary, and we and our partners at Hulu join fans in looking forward to the next chapter in The Bear’s story.”
The first season of The bear follows Carmy, a young foodie chef who returns home to Chicago to run the family sandwich shop after his brother’s suicide. Carmy must balance the realities of owning a small business, her strong-willed and recalcitrant kitchen staff, and her strained family relationships, all while grappling with the impact of her brother’s death.
Season two follows the team as they transform their dingy sandwich joint into a next-level establishment. As they stripped the restaurant to the bone, the crew embarked on a journey of transformation, each forced to confront the past and reckon with who they want to be in the future.
The series was created by Christopher Storer and he stars in it Jeremy Allen White in the role of Carmy Berzatto, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-ZayasAND Matt Matheson. The series was also presented Edwin Lee Gibson, Corey Hendrix, Oliver Platt, Jon Bernthal, José Cervantes, Richard Esteras, Carmen Christopher, Chris Witaske, Joel McHale, Jamie Lee Curtis, Gillian Jacobs, Robert Townsend, Molly Gordon, Alex Moffat, Ricky Staffieri, Mitra Jouhari AND Maura Kidwell.
