Danny DeVito Says TWINS 2 Won’t Get Made, But He Hopes There Could Be a THROW MOM FROM THE TRAIN Sequel

Danny DeVito he’s been the star of TV shows and movies for decades, giving us so many comedic performances to enjoy, and now he’s considering which ones he may or may not return to. DeVito and his co-star and friend have been rumored for years Arnold Schwarzenegger they might reunite to make a sequel to their 1988 comedy Twinsbut DeVito says the idea died when Schwarzenegger became governor of California.

In a recent interview with GQ, DeVito said Schwarzenegger’s priorities changed when he entered politics.

“Arnold [Schwarzenegger] and I want to work together. We missed Twins 2, because he became governor, which Twins 2 should have done instead of becoming governor. Now we have a little thing going on, a little project that we’re talking about.

Plans have nothing to do with Twins. “No, it’s just two friends, two guys, because we have fun together,” DeVito said. “We complement each other in many ways. I’m much stronger than him.”

DeVito also said he and Billy Crystal at one point they were working on a sequel to their 1987 comedy, Throw mom from the trainit would have been called Throw dad from the train. While the project isn’t moving forward yet, DeVito hopes he and Crystal “still want to work together” in the future.

I don’t think any of these films necessarily need sequels, but I’d be happy to see these reunions happen in new films! This is a fun group of actors and I would love to see them make a new comedy together.
