Peacock has released a trailer for the new sci-fi romantic comedy If I were the lastwhat stars Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) AND Zoe Chao (After dinner). The two play astronauts who find themselves stuck drifting aimlessly in space. When they are convinced that no one will save them, they begin to think about how they will live their last days alive. As you may have guessed, they begin to have feelings for each other.
In the film, “Adam and Jane have been on a NASA mission for three years that has gone terribly wrong: their ship is broken and drifting between Jupiter and Saturn,” reads the synopsis. “Finding ways to pass the time when they are certain no one will come to save them, they debate what to do. One day, Adam suggests that maybe they should sleep together; Jane laughs at the idea, but it sparks a provocative debate about whether it’s better to spend the remaining days as friends or something more.
If I were the last is directed by Kristian Mercado from a screenplay written by Angela Bourassa. The film is also the protagonist Natalie Morales, Missi Pyle, Geoff StultsAND Kaleka.
