Screen Junkies has released its Honest Trailer for Lucasfilm and Dave Filoni’S Star Wars: Ahsoka, and it’s kind of fun to tear the series apart. Even if you enjoyed the season, like I did, there are definitely criticisms highlighted in this video that you can’t ignore and will find yourself agreeing with.
“What really makes Ahsoka feel like George Lucas’ original recipe is some of the worst dialogue since ‘I Don’t Like Sand.’”
While I enjoyed the overall story of the series, the dialogue was quite bad at times and some character exchanges and performances felt flat. She wasn’t as compelling as she could have been.
I definitely recognize the series’ problems, but I can also appreciate what Filoni and his team were trying to do. You may not agree with a lot of fan criticism, but the Screen Junkies gang sure do! In the end, they deliver a funny video that some of you will like!
