Some new concept art has emerged Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse that you’ll want to check out! The artwork features drawings of eight villainous characters who did not make it into the final version of the film.
Characters featured in these images include Eightball, Hippo, Jackal, Hobgoblin, Human Fly, Screwball, Puma, and Hypno Hustler. The art was created by the film’s character designer Jesus Alonso Iglesiaswhich he shared in a note:
“Let’s forget about The Spot for a second (some of its other developments are still waiting to appear 😏) and move on to a more fun assignment, this gang of bad guys who didn’t appear in the movie but gave us all some really good moments” exploring some personal versions.”
These are some super fun designs for these characters and it would have been fun to see them appear in the movie! I especially love the Hobgoblin designs.
