Lionsgate has released the first trailer for an upcoming comedy titled Sick girlhero the Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrevas a young woman who pretends to have a cancer diagnosis when she feels her friends are dropping out of her life.
In the story, “When Wren Pepper (Dobrev) feels her closest friends drifting away, she lets go of a little white lie that turns into a monumental, life-changing event.” The film marks his feature film directorial debut Jennifer Cram and is described as “a hilarious take on the price of insecurity and the rewards of true friendship”.
The film is also the protagonist Sherry Cola (Joy ride), Brandon Mychal Smith, Stephanie Koenig, Haley Magnus, Ray McKinnon, Dan BakkedahlAND Wendi Mclendon-Covey.
Sick girl will debut in theaters and on demand/digital on October 20th.
