A new photo has been released by Netflix UK social media teasing the upcoming final season of The crownwhich will concern Prince Charles (now King Charles III) and his second royal marriage to his current wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles.
The post on Netflix’s UK social media page features an image of a royal wedding service order, which took place in 2005. The teaser confirms this The crownThe final season will see Charles mourn the death of Princess Diana in 1997 and later move on to his second wife, the now Queen Camilla.
The show’s producers had previously explained that they filmed Princess Diana’s death with “tremendous sensitivity”.
Executive producer Susanne Mackie he said of the last season and the actress Elizabeth DebickiDiana’s representation:
“The show might be big and loud, but we’re not. We are caring people and we are sensitive people. There were very thoughtful and long conversations about how we were going to do it. The audience will ultimately judge it, but I think it was recreated with delicacy and care. Elizabeth Debicki is an amazing actress and was so thoughtful and thoughtful. She loved Diana. There’s a huge respect from all of us, I hope it’s evident.”
The crown will return for its sixth and final season later this fall.
