Disney+ has shared a new action-packed clip from Star Wars: Ahsoka titled “Lightsaber Duel”. In the clip, we see Hera and Chopper chasing a runaway ship and while this is happening, Ahsoka is back on land in an intense lightsaber battle with two assailants including the former Inquisitor, Marrok.
I had the chance to watch the first two episodes of the series last night and it was amazing! This is basically Star Wars: Rebels Season 5. I’m very excited to see how this series continues to unfold!
Disney+ also announced that the series will premiere the day before, on August 22nd. They also revealed that new episodes of the show will be released every Tuesday instead of Wednesday. I’ve included that ad below.

The show will pick up where Star Wars Rebels and the search for Ezra Bridger left off (Eman Esfandi) and Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) really starts. The official logline reads: “Set after the fall of the Empire, Star Wars: Ahsoka follows former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) while investigating an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) joins Ahsoka on her journey. They will be joined by Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and most likely the droid, Chopper and Zeb will also return. The series is also starring Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, Ray Stevenson such as Baylon, e Ivanna Sakhno like ShinHati.
The limited series is written by Dave Filoni which produces executive along with Jon Favreau AND Kathleen Kennedy.
