Steven Spielberg he has always been fascinated by UFOs and aliens as he has made several films on these topics throughout his career. So, it should come as no surprise that he and his Amblin Television have produced a new documentary series about aliens entitled Dating.
It has been reported that Netflix has picked up the four-part series, which is also being developed by Boardwalk Pictures, which is behind Netflix Pepsi, where’s my jet?and Vice Studios. The project was directed by Yon Motskinwho created Max’s The generational hustle.
The series will explore four extraordinary true stories of encounters with otherworldly phenomena. Each episode tells “a single story: strange lights in the sky over a small Texas town; submersible spacecraft infesting a Welsh coastal village; an alien encounter with schoolchildren in Zimbabwe and non-human intelligence that would interfere with a nuclear power plant in Japan.
The stories are told from the “perspective of first-hand experiences – in the places where the sightings occurred – and guided by scientists and military personnel, the series highlights the profoundly human impact of these encounters on lives, families and communities” .
The series comes as new revelations from military whistleblowers of alien encounters, UFOs and clandestine Pentagon programs have emerged, as well as coverage from major news sources.
I’m fascinated by these things and I’m really curious to see how these stories are treated in this documentary. Dating will launch the four parts on September 27.
