A new trailer has been released for the British film, Ballywalter, an unconventional comedy-drama about friendship. The film is the protagonist Seana Kerslakeand comical Patrick Kielty in his first dramatic role. The film is directed by Prasanna Puwanarajahto their feature film directorial debut, from a screenplay written by Stacey Gregg.
The synopsis of the film reads:
Shane (Patrick Kielty) exiled himself to Ballywalter following the breakdown of his marriage, but is now trying to get his life back on track by enrolling in stand-up comedy class. When Shane calls a cab to take him to his classes, Eileen (Seána Kerslake) picks it up and a surprising bond is formed. As the two spend time together shuttling back and forth, a beautiful friendship develops, leading both to a moment of fulfillment. Shane reinstates; Eileen makes peace with herself and who she is she really is. She finally she can stop racing and drive.
It really seems like a good story about friendship and the hardships we all face in life. Check out the trailer below and see Ballywalter in UK cinemas from 22 September.
