Upstream Arcade and Good Shepherd Entertainment have released a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming video game Wyrd’s Infernal Web. This game looks like a lot of fun and I love that it was made in Mike Mignoladistinct artistic style.
The new trailer shows off some of the locations from the game and loads of footage of Hellboy beating his enemies to death. The game offers fans an original story created in collaboration with Dark Horse Comics and the creator of Hellboy Mike Mignola.
The story sees Hellboy embarking on “a series of very different and wholly unique adventures” all of which are related to the mysterious Butterfly House.
Built in 1962 by occultist Pasquale Deneveaux, The Butterfly House is actually a gateway to a terrifying and fascinating dimension called The Wyrd. A BPRD agent sent on a reconnaissance mission to the mansion and immediately disappears. It’s up to you as Hellboy, along with your team of Bureau agents, to find your missing colleague and uncover the secrets of The Butterfly House.
As you investigate, you’ll explore wondrous and strange planes of existence contained within the Wyrd, each home to mighty monsters, forgotten deities, magnificent treasures, and mighty secrets. But beware, for the ancient evil lurks in the farthest reaches of the Wyrd… an evil that can’t wait to get out.
It looks like this game is going to be a lot of fun to play and I can’t wait to try it out! The game will come to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The belated Lance Reddick he also provides the voice of Hellboy.
