AMC has released a new teaser trailer for the new spinoff series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon and announced that they will be launching the show this September. In the series, Daryl (Norman Redus) “runs ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series follows her journey through a broken but resilient France as she hopes to find a way back home. As she makes the journey, however, the connections he makes along the way complicate his ultimate plan.
Reedus is joined in the series by Clémence Poesy, Adam Nagaitis, Anna Carrier, Erik Ebouaney, Laika Blanc Francard, Romano Levi AND Louis Puech Scigliuzzi. The series is produced by Scott M. Gimpleshowrunner David ZabelReedus, Greg Nicotero, Angela Kang, Brian Bockrath AND Daniele Percival.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is the fifth spin-off and sixth ever show based on Walking Dead franchise created by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore AND Charlie Adlard. The first season consists of six episodes, all with David Zabel writing the first episode and co-writing the second episode in collaboration with Jason Richmann. Colin Abert is credited with writing the third episode while Shannon Goss takes the fourth. Richman and Zabel team up again for the fifth episode with Richman and Laura Snow co-writer of the season finale.
