DEADPOOL 3 halts production due to actors’ strike, so no more set photos

For the past week, Marvel fans have been enjoying all the photos and videos that come from the set of Deadpool 3. The hype grew when we saw Wolverine in his classic yellow costume and watch Ryan ReynoldsHe’s fighting Deadpool Hugh Jackmanit’s Wolverine. These are things we have been waiting to see for years!

We’ll see it all on the big screen one day, but as of right now, the Deadpool 3 production was officially halted due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. That means we won’t be seeing any new set photos anytime soon.

Production will resume after the strike ends, but most likely in several months. It appears that SAG-AFTRA and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers are so far apart that it will be a while before they find common ground to work on.

Deadpool 3 it is one of many major television and film productions that are shut down. The SAG-AFTRA strike will put an indefinite pause on Hollywood across the board. Under the provisions of the strike, actors are not allowed to work in any capacity. This includes filming and promoting projects.

“[On Wednesday], our union celebrated the 90th anniversary of the incorporation of the Screen Actors Guild. During our nearly century-old existence we have battled and made countless payoffs for working actors. Today we enter an important new chapter in our union history. Early this morning, the SAG-AFTRA national council met after four weeks of negotiations with the Alliance of Film and Television Producers in a meeting as AMPTP remains reluctant to offer a fair settlement on key issues essential to protect the media livelihood of working actors and performers. SAG AFTRA as a national council unanimously voted to issue a strike order against studios and streamers.”

It is rather absurd that both the writers and the actors are now on strike. This hasn’t happened since the 1960s and Hollywood is now completely shut down. Hopefully everyone will be able to work out their issues and come to some sort of compromise sooner rather than later, because there are plenty of other hard working people in the industry not involved with those unions who will lose their jobs and money.

It has recently been confirmed that Jennifer garner will return as Elektra in the film and there are reports that several other X-Men characters could appear as Halle Berry like storm, Famke Janssen such as Jean Grey, e James Marden back to playing Cyclops! There are also reports that Ben Affleck will appear in the film as Daredevil and Channing Tatum appearing as Gambit. It was also previously reported that Deadpool 3 will feature more than two variants of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and two variants of Wolverine.

The film is directed by Shawn Leviand the film also acts Emma Corrin like the bad guy, Morena Baccarin AND Stefan Kapicic as Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, e Leslie Uggams in the role of Al blind. They are united by Brianna Hildebrand AND Shioli Kutsuna he will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend, Yukio.

Deadpool 3 is currently slated for a theatrical release on May 3, 2024.
