Director Steven Soderbergh released a trailer for a surprise sci-fi comedy series we had no idea he was making called Z command. Michael Cera protagonists of the series, which takes a post-apocalyptic look back to the year 2023, as he and his team travel back in time to the past by inserting a wormhole into a washing machine that allows them to enter the minds of people in the past.

Cera is on a mission to save humanity, and is joined in the film by Roy Wood Jr., Chloe RadcliffeAND Liev Schreiber. Soderbergh’s production company Extension 765 revealed the trailer and shared the following note:

“I think by now you are used to describing to me the somewhat capricious behavior of our boss, Mr/Dr Soderbergh, but this more recent development is of a higher order and cannot be kept to myself for reasons you will soon understand… If I sound nervous, it’s because A) None of us have seen it; and B) apparently it’s about ninety minutes long, but there are eight episodes of varying lengths, so is it an actual series or just a film cut to pieces?

The trailer for Z command hasn’t been released on YouTube, the only place you can watch it right now is exclusively via 765, which is a blog/marketplace by Steven Soderbergh, called “Soderblog”.
