Ice cube, Ben KingsleyAND Sophia Botella they are also set to star alongside Dave Bautista in the upcoming comedy action movie The Assassin’s Game. The film is directed by Day shift director JJ Perry for Lionsgate from a script written by Rand Ravic AND Simone Kinberg.
The film is based on the novel by Jay Bonansinga and the story follows “veteran assassin Joe Flood (Bautista), who is diagnosed with a life-threatening disease and empowers himself to kill himself to avoid the pain that is bound to follow. After ordering the killing, he discovers he’s been misdiagnosed and must fend off the army of former colleagues trying to kill him.
It’s unknown who these other actors play in the film, but I’m guessing they’re other assassins on a mission to take out Bautista. The movie looks really funny!

We believe The Killer’s Game is the perfect mix of action and comedy, and right now there’s no one better at threading that needle than Dave Bautista. We can’t wait to get started.”

Production on the film will begin this summer in Budapest.
