Ryan Reynolds recently shared a photo from the set of Deadpool 3 on Instagram with himself as Deadpool next to Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and, as you’ll see, he’s wearing his comic book-style suit!
It was reported last week that Jackman would be wearing Wolverine’s yellow and blue suit, and Reynolds has now confirmed it with this photo! It’s so cool that after all these years we get to see Jackman wearing this suit! This is something fans have been waiting to see, and we never thought we would after Jackman said he would step down from the role after Logano. Well, here it is!
I wish Reynolds had shared a hi-res photo, but I’ll take what I can get! I love the design of the dress and Jackman looks great in it!
Speaking earlier about the version of Wolverine that this film will include, Reynolds explained that it will be very different from what we are used to: “What we proposed [Jackman] it was enough of a departure from the character he knows and the character he’s left behind, that it gives him something completely new to play and something he’s really excited to do.”
Not only that, there’s going to be two different versions of Wolverine in the movie, so that’s going to be interesting. It was also recently confirmed Jennifer garner will return as Elektra in the film and there are reports that several other X-Men characters could appear as Halle Berry like storm, Famke Janssen such as Jean Grey, e James Marden back to playing Cyclops! There are also reports that Ben Affleck will appear in the film as Daredevil and Channing Tatum appearing as Gambit. It was also previously reported that Deadpool 3 will feature more than two variants of Ryan Reynolds’ Dead Pool.
The film is directed by Shawn Leviand the film also acts Emma Corrin like the bad guy, Morena Baccarin AND Stefan Kapicic as Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, e Leslie Uggams in the role of Al blind. They are united by Brianna Hildebrand AND Shioli Kutsuna he will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend, Yukio.
Deadpool 3 is currently slated for a theatrical release on May 3, 2024.
