The Adventures of Indiana Jones takes the archaeologist to some crazy places where he is hunting for lost historical artifacts. While many of these artifacts are inspired by things that exist in real history, movies take creative license to embellish the story to make things even more interesting and fun.
I have here a great video for you to watch that explores movies and the things they actually do about the story. This video comes from Grunge and comes to the following note:
The Indiana Jones franchise is one of the most iconic action/adventure film franchises of all time, but you aren’t watching them for a history lesson. Yes, the artifacts Indy looks for in the movies are believed to exist, but that doesn’t mean all the details are accurate.
However, there are some things in movies that might seem ridiculous and are actually based on reality. From the Nazi obsession with the occult and archeology to the actual history of the crystal skulls, let’s take a look at some things the Indiana Jones movies actually figured out about history.
Enjoy the video!
