EVIL DEAD RISE Creature Designer Shares Gruesome Images For ‘The Marauder’ Monster From The End

The creator of creatures for the director Lee Cronin’S The Rise of the Evil Dead posted a couple of pics with the creepy monster from the end of the movie…The Marauder.

Adam Johansen AND Damian Martin from creature effects house Odd Studio have been tasked with creating this monstrous beast of a Deadite, and it’s the stuff of nightmares! The Marauder is basically three possessed family members who have been mutated together to form a homicidal spider-like hell creature.

The Odd Studio team writes: “We had the privilege of being invited to design and create The Marauder’s creature suit. The movie has been out long enough for us to start sharing some bts pics of one of the most complicated creature suits we’ve ever built. This design is by our good friend @dominic_hailstone_ and Creature Designer Adam Johansen @adman855.”

These photos give us a better view of the beast as it was really dark in the film and it was hard to make out the details.

The Rise of the Evil Dead is available now in 4K, Blu-ray and digital, and is also streaming on Max. So if you haven’t seen it yet, you should check it out! It was great evil Dead horror movie!

In Evil Dead Rise, the action moves out of the woods and into the city, and tells a twisted story of two estranged sisters, played by Sullivan and Sutherland, whose reunion is interrupted by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, driving them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of the family imaginable.
