Quiver has released the trailer for his intense looking action thriller Dead shot. Quiver has produced some decent films over the last few years and this one looks like it’s going to do just fine. The cast of the film includes Aml Ameen, Colin Morgan, Máiréad Tyers, Dara Devaneywith Mark Strong AND Felicity Jones.
The film is inspired by the book The road to Balcombe Street Of Steven P. Moysey. The story is set in the 1970s on the streets of London and features some grounded and ferocious action sequences. The story follows a retired Irish paramilitary who witnesses the fatal killing of his pregnant wife by an SAS officer and finds himself on a mission of revenge.
The synopsis reads: “When a border ambush goes awry, retired Irish paramilitary Michael (Morgan) witnesses his pregnant wife being killed by British Sergeant Tempest (Ameen). Now wounded, and presumably dead, he flees, taking his revenge in the dark and paranoid streets of 1970s London. Gritty and suspenseful, Dead Shot is an adrenaline-pumping thriller that will leave audiences weighing the true cost of revenge.
Dead shot is written and directed by two filmmaking brothers Tom Guard AND Charles Guardia and it feels like a solid film. It will be released in select theaters and on VOD starting August 18, 2023.
