A new trailer and poster for the Vatican operative action film has been released The man from Romehero Richard Armitage, Amaia Salamanca, Paul Guilfoyle, Paul Freeman, Rodolfo Sancho, Fionnula Flanagan, Carlo CuevasAND Franco Nero. The film is written and directed by Sergio Dow (Images of the Pacific, Rambao, On wheels, botero).
Here is the synopsis:
A hacker breaks into Vatican security and sends an anonymous urgent appeal to the pope. Handsome Father Quart, of the church’s Institute for Foreign Affairs, an arm of Vatican intelligence, is sent to investigate. The hacker’s message concerns a dilapidated 17th-century Baroque church in the heart of Seville that apparently “kills in self-defense”.
Everything seems fine. The story is a bit wacky and the writing feels a bit flat. But the trailer could be misleading. Check out the trailer below and see The man from Rome when it hits select US theaters and on VOD this summer.
