A nightmare in Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors was released in 1987 and was directed by Chuck Russell. The film continues the story of Freddy Krueger, a supernatural serial killer who haunts the dreams of teenagers and kills them in their sleep.
In this film, a group of teenagers in a mental hospital share a collective nightmare of Freddy. Led by Kristen, played by Patricia Arquetteand aided by Nancy Thompson, the survivor from the first film, the “Dream Warriors” must learn to harness the powers of their dreams and face Freddy to survive.
As the story unfolds, the Dream Warriors discover their individual dream abilities and combine their powers to fight the sadistic terror of Freddy.
