“There is a community that we are all part of: different cultures and lifestyles, we all come together to enjoy cinema. It’s something I grew up with, that made me dream and inspired me to travel the world. My goal since I was little was to make films and travel. And not just be a tourist, but work in that world and understand their culture. Through my films, I was able to have that because everyone here allowed me to entertain them. It’s a privilege I’ve never taken for granted. It’s my passion to entertain you and I will always strive for great theater and that kind of experience for everyone.

Cruise also paid tribute to his Mission Impossible director Christopher McCarriecalling the helmsman his “creative brother”.

“He’s been in every single film I’ve made in the last 16 years. Uncredited, he wrote “Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol”. He helped edit and write every single I made. He is my creative brother and an outstanding human being ”.

The seventh episode of Mission Impossible The franchise was partly filmed in the Italian capital, where the cobbled streets provided the perfect pavement for rubber-burning drift cars in numerous hair-raising chases that will likely go down in action movie history.
