THE FLASH had a disappointing opening weekend at the box office

The flash rushing to theaters this weekend, and while it won at the box office, the result was rather disappointing.

The film was expected to earn $70-$75 million at the domestic box office, but ended up grossing only $55 million, which is a huge blow for a film that had a production budget of $220, with a total of $330 million including marketing . It earned a total of $139 million worldwide.

While the movie is good, audiences and fans aren’t sure what to make of it. The film was made under the old regime of DC Entertainment and the entire DC Cinematic Universe is changing with the arrival of James Gunn AND Peter Safran as co-CEO of DC Studios. The film doesn’t really seem to have a solid place in DC’s future.

Beyond that, there’s everything Ezra Miller What. As you know, the actor went through a crazy streak that got him in trouble with the law. The bad press surrounding Miller certainly hasn’t helped the film, and with the filmmakers wanting to continue working with them on any potential sequels, audiences and fans seem to have mixed feelings about it.

Then there’s just the underwhelming array of DC movies that have been released over the years. The DC brand is just something the public is still wary of.

I actually thought so The flash would do better at the box office than it did, especially with Michael Keaton returning as Batman, but it wasn’t enough to propel him to the expected numbers at the box office.

I will say that I didn’t like the movie as much the second time around. So it might not carry a chance to be reviewed as all the errors and issues stand out like a sour thumb the second time around. But it’s still a fun movie. Regardless, I liked the movie, but the audience talked. It also received mixed reviews, with a barely fresh 67% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes and a surprisingly low CinemaScore B.

What did you think about The flash? Are you surprised by the low box office numbers?
