Arnold Schwarzenegger’s action series FUBAR has been renewed for a second season

Arnold Schwarzeneggerthe Netflix action series, Fubarhas been renewed for a second season! The actor himself made the announcement over the weekend at Netflix’s Tudum event.

The first season of the series was a lot of fun, and I think it’s one of the best projects Schwarzenegger has been involved in in recent years! Schwarzenegger is definitely in his element in this series and I’m thrilled we’re getting more!

The eight-episode first season of Fubar follows CIA agent Luke Brunner (Schwarzenegger) as he uncovers a family secret that puts him back in the fray and delays his retirement plans. He is “forced back to the field for one last job, FUBAR tackles universal family dynamics in a global context of spies, action and humor”.

The show was a huge hit for the streaming service and opened with 88.94 million hours viewed in its first four days of release.

Fubar even stars Monica Barbara as Emma Brunner, Fortune Feimster like Ro, Jay Baruchel as Carter, Aparn Brielle like Tina, Andy Buckley like Donnie, Barbara Eva Harris as point, Gabriel Luna like boro, Milan Carter like Barry, Fabiana Udenio such as Tally, e Travis Van Winkle like Aldone. Schwarzenegger is also an executive producer alongside creator and showrunner Nick Santora.

Schwarzenegger previously said: “Everywhere I go, people ask me when I’m going to do another great action comedy like True Lies. Well, here it is. FUBAR will kick your ass and make you laugh – and not just for two hours. You have an entire season.”

Nicholas Santora serves as showrunner and executive producer of FUBAR. He said, “FUBAR is, by far, the most surreal project of my career. I grew up watching Arnold Schwarzenegger movies — I would contact my dad for some cash so I could run to the movies and see the biggest star in the world on the big screen, so creating Arnold’s first scripted television project is incredibly exciting for me,” says Santora. “The thing that always amazed me was how funny Schwarzenegger could be and still kick ass… that’s why I wanted FUBAR to be a hysterical CIA spy comedy mixed with heart-pounding action! more. I’d like to elaborate in more detail, but, sorry, it’s confidential”.

Are you happy to know that we will have another season of Fubar? Did you like the first season?
