Sony and Marvel have announced two new Spider-Man Universe movie release dates that are on the way, both showing in IMAX. An “Untitled Sony/Marvel” movie is now dated for November 8, 2024, a date previously occupied by Marvel Studios Deadpool 3 before it was moved earlier this week. A second film “Untitled Sony/Marvel Live Action” is dated June 27, 2025.
No details have been provided at this time on what movies these will be, but you may have noticed that the first movie isn’t specified as live-action, while the second is. This could mean that we are seeing Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse be moved to a new date, or it could be a completely different project. Or maybe it’s not animated, and we’ll see Ms Web be rejected. The live-action slot could be for Poison 3hero Tom Hardy, Temple of JunoAND Chiwetel Ejiofor, or maybe the Tom Holland Continuation spider man 4 which is in the works.
