Giancarlo Esposito (The Mandalorian, Breaking Bad) is the latest actor to join the cast of Radio Silence’s upcoming untitled Universal thriller film Monster. He joins the previous cast Melissa Barrara, Alisha Weir, Dan Stevens, Kevin Durand, Kathryn Newton, Angus Cloud AND Will Catlett.
Radio silence Matt Bettinelli-Olpin AND Tyler Gillette will direct the film, with the producer of Scream Chad Villella serving as producer together William Sherak, Paul Neistein AND James Vanderbilt.
The untitled film is said to be “in the vein of recent Studio successes such as The invisible man AND Renfield.” It is explained that it will offer “a unique take on legendary monster lore and represent a fresh and new direction in how we celebrate these classic characters.”
Unfortunately, we don’t have any plot details to share yet, and we have no idea who the actors will be playing in the film. There have been speculations that it could be Bride of Frankenstein or a film inspired by it, but nothing has been confirmed. It really could be anything. Esposito is a great addition to the movie, though!
The screenplay of the film was written by Stefano Scudiwith revisions by Guy Busicand we’ll just have to wait and see what story this film will tell.
The film is scheduled for release on April 19, 2024.
