If you like watching crazy horror movies that melt your brain, here is a trailer for an upcoming indie horror movie titled The violation, which is described as “gory, cosmic horror”. If you like sound, then this is a movie you might want to check out.
The violation is based on the novel by Nick Cutter and tells the story of “John Hawkins (Allan Hawco), counting down his last days as police chief in the small town of Lone Crow nestled in the desolate woods of northern Ontario. When a mangled body with unnerving wounds washes up on the banks of the Porcupine River, he is drawn into a horrific supernatural mystery that defies understanding.
As the trailer unfolds it starts to spiral into insanity and the latest clips of the trailer are what really grab your attention with some incredibly grotesque visuals. Sounds like a scarily funny movie!
The film comes from the founder of Rue Morgue Magazine, Rodrigo Gudino, and this is the second feature film he has directed. The film also features music from Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, who also serves as an executive producer. He is also the protagonist Emilia Alatalo, Natalia Brown, Maria Antonini, Wesley French, Adam Kenneth Wilsonwith a special cameo by Alex LifesonRush’s lead guitarist.
The violation will get a direct-to-VOD release on July 11, 2023.
