Comedians Jerry Seinfeld AND Jim Gaffigan are set to embark on a four-arena tour together this fall. I’m a huge fan of these two guys’ comedy and it sounds like a great event worth attending!
Seinfeld said in a statement, “Jim and I met doing comedians on Cars Getting Coffee and have talked about doing that for years. We finally got the programs working. I can’t wait.
Gaffigan added, “I am so excited to help this unknown up-and-coming comedian that many may have never heard of. I know it’s going to be an incredible group of shows.
Tour dates and venues include Friday, November 3 at the Chase Center in San Francisco; Saturday, November 4, at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles; Friday November 10 in Chicago; and Saturday, November 11 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.
Seinfeld’s next big project is a movie titled Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story, which he also directed, co-wrote and produced. He also stars in the film next door James Marden (Sonic the hedgehog 2), Melissa McCarthy (ghost Buster), Jim Gaffigan (Linoleum), Amy Schumer (Life & Bet), AND Hugh Grant (The ruin). They will be joined by Christian Slater (Doctor Death). Jack McBrayer (Hi Jack! The show of kindness), Tom Lennon (Rhine 911!), Adrian Martinez (I Gilbert), Bobby Moynihan (Saturday night live), Max Greenfield (The neighborhood), AND Sarah Cooper (Sarah Cooper: It’s okay).
That movie is inspired by a joke Seinfeld told in his Netflix comedy special about the shocking invention of the Pop Tart, which rocked his world. He wrote the screenplay with Spike Feresten.
As for Gaffigan, he’s releasing his tenth comedy TV special this year. He also plays the lead role in the sci-fi drama Linoleum and stars as Mr. Smee on Disney+ Peter Pan and Wendyalongside Jude Law.
