Frances McDormand and Joel Cohen will be the titles of “Master” at the second edition of next month’s Ponta Lopud Festival.
The American duo will present guest-only acting and directing masterclasses at an event to be held on the Croatian island of Lopud.
Launched last year by Miro Purivatra, former director and founder of the Sarajevo Film Festival, and Tilda Grossel Bogdanovic of Lopud, the new festival is designed specifically for directors, actors and filmmakers from Southeast Europe.
This year’s festival will also feature special talks by director Juho Kuosmanen, producer Peter Spears and talented agent Brian Swardstrმისm. It will also host conversations between attendees and special guests such as Pavel Pavlikowski, Michel Franco, Lily Horvat, Dani Tanovic and Ognjen Glavonic and Antonio Sanchez.
Among the participants selected for the second edition of Ponta Lopud are: honey country directed by Tamara Kotevska; murine Helmer Antonetta Alamat Kusyanovich, Una Gunjak and actor Gordan Bogdan.
