This June, you can watch the family animated film Heroes of the golden mask. The film comes from CG Bros Entertainment, Arcana Studios and Golden Image Cultural Communication Inc and tells a story inspired by the bronze masks of Sanxingdui. Sean O’Reilly (Corrective measures) directs Heroes of the Golden Masks and it looks like it could be fun. The protagonists of the film are Natasha Liu Bordizzo (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny), Osric Chau (2012), Byron Man (Skyscraper), Keifer O’Reilly (The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers), Patton Osvalt (Mystery Science Theater 3000), Ron Perlmann (Monster hunter), and the late Christopher Plummer (Knives out) in his final performance.
Charlie, a witty homeless American orphan, is magically transported to the ancient Chinese kingdom of Sanxingdui, where a colorful team of superheroes need his help to defend the city from a brutal conqueror.
you can watch Heroes of the golden mask starting June 9 on your favorite digital platforms courtesy of Gravitas Ventures. I know the animation isn’t perfect, but it still looks like it could be a fun family movie. Plus, it has some great cast members.
