Kiefer Sutherland he joined the director Clint Eastwoodthe next film project of, Juror #2. He will join the previous cast Nicholas Hoult, Zoey DeutchAND Tony Colletta.
The story of his new film follows a juror in a murder trial who slowly realizes that he has killed the victim in a reckless driving accident. While grappling with the dilemma of whether to manipulate the jury to save himself, or reveal the truth and turn himself in, he tries to save the defendant without incriminating himself.
Hoult, recently appeared in Renfield, will take on the lead role of the juror, while Collette will play the district attorney. Sutherland will play Hoult’s sponsor at Alcoholics Anonymous, and Deutch will play Hoult’s wife.
It is unknown who will play Collette, but perhaps it will be one of the other members of the judging panel.
Jonathan Abrams wrote the screenplay and is Eastwood’s 40th film. The project is billed as his final film, but it’s not officially set in stone. Adam Goodman, Matt Skiena, Tim Moore and Jessica Meier will produce.
