By Disney Star Wars: Galactic Star Cruiser the immersive experience at Walt Disney World in Florida is closing after only being in operation for a year and a half! It will close completely in September.
The Walt Disney Company announced the closing with the following statement: “Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is one of our most creative projects ever and has been praised by our guests and recognized for setting a new standard for innovation and immersive entertainment. This premium boutique experience has given us the opportunity to try new things on a smaller scale of 100 rooms, and as we prepare for its final journey, we will take what we’ve learned to create future experiences that reach more of our guests and fans. ”.
I’ve never had the opportunity to experience Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, but I’ve heard from many people that it’s really not worth the price of what you have to pay to do it. I would have loved to try it myself, but I can’t afford the cost to do it! I couldn’t justify spending $6,000 for a two day vacation!
The experience will remain open until September 30, with the final event kicking off on September 28. Disney will be contacting those who have booked trips to reschedule soon, and all bookings will be suspended through May 26.
Have any of you had the opportunity to experience Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser? If yes, what do you think?
